Direct Metals supplied a custom aluminum perforated metal job for Tunica RiverPark & Museum in Tunica, Mississippi. The .125" thick aluminum perforated metal was supplied in three different perforation patterns to give depth and artistic flair to the front façade of the river park building. One-third of the job had a 3/4" diameter hole, the second-third had a 1" diameter hole and the remaining perforated metal was supplied with a 1-1/4" diameter hole. The aluminum perforated metal was fastened to a curved galvanized steel tubing frame to create this custom masterpiece!

“Buried Pick” Monument was built at the University of Texas at El Paso
- The giant sculpture is adjacent to UTEP’s S-3 parking lot
- The two pickaxe art pieces will be set on steel and concrete bases
- Pick handles will be at a 75-degree angle
- 40 feet tall, 25 feet long and 12 feet wide. The letters U-T-E-P will be 3-1/2 feet tall and set in both sides of the axe handle.
