Bar grating stair treads are fabricated from bar grating panels. End plates with bolt holes can be welded to the ends of the stair treads. Checker plate nosing is welded to the leading edge of the bar grating stair tread. This nosing provides increased slip resistance. Direct Metals® offers nosing types in checker plate, cast abrasive or aluminum grooved nosing.
