 Stair
tread bar grating is available in carbon
steel or aluminum.
Serrated stair treads offer good protection against slips in
areas prone to oil or other hazardous elements.
The general construction of stair treads
is the same as other bar grating with additional reinforcement
and extra safety adjustments for stair applications. The nosing
is a channel or angle of material that is attached to the leading
edge of the stair tread providing increased edge visibility and
slip resistance.
Aluminum stair
treads bar grating ranges in size from 1" x 3/16"
to 1 3/4" x 3/16". Carbon
steel stair treads range
from 3/4" x 3/16" to 2 1/2" x 3/16".
