Company Background:
Direct Metals Co., LLC was founded in 1996 by John Hoover, Tom Hoover and Haynes Carswell. They realized there was a need for another metals company that would specialize in perforated metal, wire mesh, grating, expanded metal, safety decking, fiberglass grating and handrail components.
Direct Metals Co. carries an extremely large inventory of these products in warehouses in Atlanta Ga. and Chicago, IL in carbon steel, stainless, aluminum and galvanized, as well as the fiberglass grating. With a modern communications network connecting all of our employees by computer and telephone, as well as processing capabilities including shearing, sawing, punching, drilling, welding and additional fabrication expertise, Direct Metals serves customers throughout the Eastern United States and beyond.
In just a few years, we have established a reputation for courteous and knowledgeable service with quick “turnaround” of orders placed. The customer is truly the driving force at Direct Metals Co. with a strong emphasis by our employees on accuracy and integrity.
